plants

Enjoy pesticide-free olives grown from your own home – or, if you prefer – spray some pesticide on them.

Although “mini” when you get them, if planted outdoors, these trees will grow to be 20-30 feet in 2 to 3 years.

In the spring, the tree produces a raw black olive – but not quite ready to eat.  The raw fruit requires a “complex” curing process.  In my experience, anything “complex” usually involves a claw hammer, duct tape, a banjo, cash to bribe government officials, and an albino pack mule.

The last time I had to scrounge all that up, I was making fresh squeezed lemon aid.  I’ll enjoy the trees, but will buy my olives at the grocery store.
